DDO: Atari Responds to Turbine Lawsuit |
Recently MMO developer Turbine brought charge against Atari over the publisher's handling of Dungeons and Dragons Online, claiming Atari did not meet their contractual obligations, which forces the developer to also act as the title's publisher, and seeking $30 million in damages from Atari.
And now Atari responds to this lawsuit and calls it "frivolous." Also, a statement regarding their position in this matter has been published.
"Last week, with no warning, Turbine filed what can only be viewed as a frivolous lawsuit against Atari. This action can ultimately do a great disservice to D&D fans and to the MMO community at large." |
